In a case of art inspiring art, I created this vocal (and ukulele) looping experiment on September 19, 2014, inspired by a tiny calligraphic painting I'd made — an "artspark" — back in May of 2011.

For over a year, I had a practice of spending at least 15 minutes a day creating art. These calligraphic "artsparks" were the result. I used to send an email newsletter out Monday through Friday with these little artworks.

A few years later, the artwork inspired my vocal loops!
